One of the most valued benefits LAJ provides to its members is the opportunity to network. The association provides a wide variety of sections, committees and caucuses designed to give members a chance to meet — whether in person or electronically — with colleagues who share client and practice concerns.
Membership in some groups, like the Women's and Minority caucuses, is automatic and offered at no additional cost. Membership in most of the other communities is available for a small yearly fee. Practice section members frequently report that the immediate help section members provide to each other via the section list servers is among the best of LAJ's member services.
